TOPIC: System page table requirement was not met

System page table requirement was not met 12 Years, 2 Months ago
Some videodrivers in Windows XP use the system page table entries to map their buffers in kernel space. This usage competes with the need for system page table entries by Go-Global server.

In our case, VIA K8M800 integrated graphics driver leaves less than 1000 free PTEs for the system. Go-Global server minimum requirement is 10000.

Without installing video drivers for integrated graphics, Windows XP fails to show image in host system if Go-Global server is installed.
And starting Windows with basevideo (vga), Go-Global server fails to start.

Windows is XP Professional with SP2 and Go-Global server is 3.1.0.3270.

Any ideas?

Hi,

This should be fixed in 3.1.0.3270 but if you were on 3.1.0.3262 previously, then you would need to uninstall 3262 and install 3270. If you've done that and are still having a problem, please let me know. If not, could you try that?

Installing 3.1.0.3270 didn't help, but decreasing video memory increased the amount of free PTEs.
