Want to use Go-Global in my Java Application 12 Years, 10 Months ago
Hi,

I have been trying to get the Active X component Go-Global inside my Java Application but I am having problems trying to refer to the right Program ID/Class ID of this component. I want to use the native windows client.

I have created a Java Applet using the Java SWT toolkit. I am stuck on this part of code

try {
site = new org.eclipse.swt.ole.win32.OleControlSite (frame, org.eclipse.swt.SWT.NONE, ???????);
} catch (org.eclipse.swt.SWTException e) {
String str = "Create OleControlSite Error" + e.toString ();
System.out.println (str);
return;
}

??????? - is the part where I am supposed to enter the Program ID/Class ID of the Active X program. Apparently I can find this out from the windows registry but I couldn't find any relevant information.

I tried entering "CLSID:ece21d01-1faa-4f82-8759-749b06b28e11" there which I obtained from the source code of the IE Web Browser where Go Global works fine but I got an error saying "Class ID not found in registry result = -2147221005"

Hope you are with me :?

Thanks in advance
