So I did an strace on the iHEAT executable and saw the C++ calls to GraphOn software. So I looked it up on the web, and here I am. (Note that their client is from back in 2001)

I had a question, up until Redhat 8 the "native" linux client would work fine (it never really worked under Gnome). Now the client doesn't even work under KDE. When the window get hidden, then shown again, there are refresh problems and X11 goes completely crazy. I need to login from remote, and kill the proc manually. Does anyone know how I might be able to get this client to play nice with the newer version of X11?

You really need to open a support ticket from FrontRange on this one. Only they can provide you access to newer versions of iHEAT.
