TOPIC: User Groups not available within cluster manager

User Groups not available within cluster manager 13 Years, 2 Months ago Karma: 0
Hi, we've been evaluating the Go Global for Windows Server for the last few weeks and have just placed an order for the full license. However, I'm having an irritating little problem regarding the user permissions. Inside the user/groups permissions box within the cluster manager the only listing is for "Everyone". I do have several users and groups defined within Windows. I'm using Windows 2000 server SP4.

I'd really appreciate any help anyone could offer.

Cheers,
Ken

Ken,

All user, group and file permission settings are inherited by GO-Global from the Windows OS. As such, there are no individual GO-Global permission settings and there is no mechanism inside the Cluster Manager to adjust the security settings. If you want to change user or group permissions for a specific application, you will need to make those changes using the Security tab properties of the application itself.
