Could not start the Go-Global License Manager service 13 Years, 4 Months ago Karma: 0
Hi,
Just installed the demo on Windows 2000 Server SP4.

Try to use Services to start the License Manager, and get:

Could not start the Go-Global License Manager service on Local Computer.

Looked at the Event Log, and don't see any additional info.

What can I do?

Thank you

Do you have a valid license in the \GO-Global\Programs directory? Look in the APS log file in GO-Global\Logs.

If you replace the invalid license with one that is valid you need to re-start the license manager service

I meant to say that if you look in the APS log file you may see a more descriptive error message.

Thanks,
The file License.log was helpful -- had to change the Host Name, and it started.
