Hello,

Environment

Windows Server 2003 R2 SP2
4GB Ram
SQL Server 2005
GoldMine Premium 9.0.0.102
iGoldMine v8 (3.2.0.4166)

We have setup the system to launch GoldMine Premium automatically using the javalogonsigned.html and the Startup Parameters for the Java Client settings (as defined in the HTML page and Admin manual) setting the user, password and application within the createAppletTag within the file.

Based on these settings all users are logged into the server with the username, and bypass the pw.exe and start GoldMine directly. What happens is as follows;

1st User
1) Browse to the iGoldMine URL
2) Enter username and password for GoldMine
3) GoldMine loads

2nd User
1) Browse to the iGoldMine URL
2) Enter username and password for GoldMine
3) 1st User’s session is closed and is given click to reconnect message
4) GoldMine loads

Note, if we remove the Startup Parameters and use the standard javalogonsigned.html page and still use the igoldmine username for both users the 1st Users GMW.EXE is closed but the PW.EXE stays open.

Appreciate if anyone assist in solving the above problem or confirm that they have encountered the same thing.

iGoldMine version 3.2.0.4166 is pretty dated but I suspect this is happening because you've coded the same user/password in the javalogonsigned.html file. To rule out any Java issue, have you tried the same process with the IE ActiveX control or native Windows client?
