Connection Failed - Access denied 6 Years, 9 Months ago Karma: 0
Hi All,

We are using graph on in our company last few months. In December, just before xmas, there was a windows update on our win server 2003 and since than the client s cannot connect to the server.
I was suggested to install the newest version of graph on which did solve the clkuster manager, but clients (new version) are still not able to connect.
A lot of operations are depending on graph-on so I need to get this sorted, please
We use version 4 - cluster manager: 4.0.0.9306

Server - Windowns Server 2003 SP2

Firewall setup properly, port opened and listening

Thanks,
lazim

Hi lazin, I think I was with the same problem that yours (Connection failed. Access to the host was denied) and I fix it removing Go-global and installing it again on the server. The only problem is that you will have to publish all programs again in the Cluster Manager.

Here we have Symantec AntiVirus Corporate 10 and before I remove Go-Global I stopped the Symantec services at services.msc. After installing Go-Global I started Symantec services. I dont know if this was the problem, but I did this.

Thanks SupporteNT for ur reply.
I will try that even tho we did re-install the host software already.
Do you know if I have to re-license the product after full uninstall and install? This was done be an external company so not sure how that works with the license. I am aware that it is saved somewhere but not sure where

The same license can be used during a full product re-install. The license file is located in C:\Program Files\GraphOn\GO-Global\Programs\license-xxx.lic

To make sure it's compatible with the latest version (GO-Global 4) make sure it has an INCREMENT line that references 4.0 as below:

SERVER <hostname> <hostid>
DAEMON blm
INCREMENT session blm 4.0 permanent

Thanks guys... cannot see the license.lic or anything ending .lic in the programs folder.... I think the 3rd Party company who installed it did put the license somewhere else. Is there a why to find out where GG is reading the license details from?

I found the old license for version 3.2 in the backups but not for v4.
