Hi,

Lately we have been getting "hung" session issues which have been causing problems for our users in our production environment. I have an example of a user who has just logged out, yet the session did not disconnect properly.
I have been trying to look in the log file for Application Publishing Service and I didn't see anything that jumped out except for this:

2010-08-10 11:54:27.180 Logon324 on Limsappprod1, aps (2552) Process #3904 (Logon.exe) started in session "Logon324 on Limsappprod1".
2010-08-10 11:54:33.039 cm (2552) CS (server-side): Security Support Provider (SSP) Information: Name: "NTLM"; Support for delegation of users credentials in server contexts: No.
2010-08-10 11:54:33.086 cm (9024) CS (client-side): Security Support Provider (SSP) Information: Name: "NTLM"; Support for delegation of users credentials in server contexts: No.
2010-08-10 11:54:33.117 cm (9024) SC: Failed to determine if the component has administrative privileges.
2010-08-10 11:54:33.148 cm (2552) SS: Invalid server identifier.

I don't know what all this means, but I am thinking it might be causing the hung sessions.

The question we have is what causes the session to disconnect improperly?

Thanks

Actual "hung" sessions are extremely rare and the reasons for a hung session can vary. If you can reproduce this, send a message to Support and ask for instructions on using the "adplus" debugger.
