Help getting MAS200 client running over Go Global 7 Years, 9 Months ago Karma: 0
I am trying to get the MAS200 client published via Go Global. I am able to connect one session and launch the MAS200 client. When I try to connect a second session and launch MAS200, I get an error that says that a launcher has already been detected and asks if I want to end all processes and start a new launcher. This is expected behavior if you attempt to launch multiple instances of the MAS200 client on the same machine.

When the MAS200 client is launched, the computer name is passed on to the MAS200 server and kept in a database until that connection is ended. The problem appears to be that when a MAS200 connection if initiated via Go Global, the Go Global server's name is passed on to the MAS200 server. When the second session attempts to launch MAS200, it attempts to pass the same computer name on to the MAS200 server and thus gets the launcher already detected error.

My configuration is pictured below. The command line options I used were taken right from the MAS200 shortcut on the desktop. Is it possible that this could be gotten around using command line options? Could we have Go Global pass the client's name instead of the server's name to MAS200 or could we spoof the computer name?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Try writing a batch script that launches the MAS200 with all related parameters.

Write a batch file that:
1. Performs the tasks necessary to prepare the application environment for a user.
2. Launches the application.
3. Performs any cleanup tasks required after the application shuts down. The batch file should end with an EXIT command. Otherwise the CMD.EXE process will not shut down.

Publish the application script
1. Open the Cluster Manager
2. Click Tools | Applications | Add.
3. Type the path to CMD.EXE in the Application Path field.
4. In the Command Line Options field, specify "/K filename", where filename is the full path of the batch file to be run.
5. Type the application display name and specify an icon.
6. Click OK.

Thanks for the reply. I've been meaning to get back here and add some comments but I have been swamped.

The problem with MAS200 turned out to be that I needed to make the appropriate registry changes on the Go Global server to enable the getcomputername api (page 110 of the admin guide).

Once I did that, I have been able to have multiple concurrent connections successfully.

Thanks for your help.
