Yes, Windows 7 is supported as a client platform for GGU (and GGW as well). The documentation is being updated.

Yes, Goglobal for Unix v2.2.13 is working with minor error during installation on Windows 7 Pro. Thanks.

While the client works for me in the most basic sense, it has one glaring problem - namely that moving or resizing windows in Multiple Window mode appears not to be communicated back to the Unix system.

Two examples:
1) Open an xterm on the Windows desktop, do something like an "ls -l" to get some text in the window, double click a word and see it highlighted. Move the window down a few lines, double click the same word and notice that the highlight takes place on a different line. Unix still "thinks" the window is unmoved.

2) Open an xterm on the Windows desktop, do an "ls -l" again. Now resize the window to a larger height, repeat the "ls -l" and notice that the "new" window height is unused/ignored.

Exiting the client and suspending the session, then restarting the client and resuming it will "undo" both #1/#2 in that the windows will be back at their pre-move/pre-resize position and size.

I've seen this on two different Windows 7 client boxes with everything working as expected when the same session is visited from an XP client box.

Thanks! I'm happy to provide more info as needed. Unfortunately my IT department is not yet supporting Windows7, so it may be hard to get them to file a formal bug report "through channels"
