Windows permission tutorial? 8 Years, 1 Month ago Karma: 0
I realize that everybody's environment is different, and group policies can have significant effects, but can someone provide a simple tutorial or set of steps for applying permissions to published applications? Not everyone, especially me, is well versed in the subtleness of windows permissions.

I have two particular cases I want to do, but can't seem to make work right.

1. I want to allow a specific domain user who does not have administrative rights the ability to see and execute a published application, but deny visibility in the GO-Global program window for all other domain users.

2. I would like to do the same with a small group of domain users. I would assume this would be the same procedure as case 1 swapping the username with a newly created domain group.

AFAIK...
application access control in GO-Global for Windows is very depend on Active Directory (Domain Controller).
you should check access control of your executable before you publish it.
