TOPIC: Mac client does not process control and other keys
#3009
Mac client does not process control and other keys 8 Years, 2 Months ago Karma: 0
Hi all!

One of my clients is evaluating using the Mac OS client and he experiences that the following keys are not processed:
Control key, alt key, command key, shift key, caps key and the function keys.

Does anybody know what the catch is, here? It is too obvious to be a bug, I guess. Both client and server are on the latest patch (4420).

Thanx,

Guido

What keyboard are you using? Language? OS?

I've had this issue.

The Mac Go-Global client doesn't like some country's keyboard layouts.

In our case the Mac's were set to Australian keyboard layout and the shift key & some other keys didn't work.

I switched the layout to US (which is essentially the same as AU layout) and it works well & doesn't affect anything else on the system. I believe the UK layout should work also.

James
