We have a series of applications published on a Windows server. We are using domain logins.

We have two users accessing via Macintosh clients. (both server and client software are the most recent available from GraphOn as of this weekend).

For the Mac users, most apps launch with no problem. Occasionally, however, a user will double-click an app, the message at the bottom of the GoGlobal client says "Launching App" for a few seconds, and then goes back to "1 item(s) selected". The app never launches.

Trying a second or third time, and the application eventually launches.

We have seen this occasionally on one Windows client, but it is much less consistent.

The randomness is peculiar. Try looking at the APS logs for any user or application permission related issues. Might also be related to the server Windows DEP or AntiVirus (temporarily pause Norton if that's what you're using) settings.

That may have been it. This is a DMZ machine where we set up a separate DC in the DMZ and limited that DC to only be able to talk back to LAN DCs. We didn't quite have it right at first, but eventually got it working. However, we had not restarted the GoGlobal machine after we got it working correctly.

The APS log did indicate some general permission errors at startup. I rebooted the GoGlobal machine and we have not had problems since.

Thanks
