TOPIC: Script with other script inside cannot execute
#2923
Script with other script inside cannot execute 8 Years, 6 Months ago Karma: 0
I'm going to testing GraphOn wiht 1 relay server and 2 dependent servers. I'm the Citrix Administrator for last 6 years and gonna be move to GraphOn. I'm using script with other script inside for the login script and there is no issues till this time.
I'm using the same login script to testing with GraphOn, but not seem like on Citrix.
This the figure :
1. Script #1 test.bat with just one line command NET USE H: \\SERVERNAME\SHARENAME
2. Script #2 test_other.bat with line no.1 is NET USE K: \\SERVERNAME\SHARENAME and line No.2 execute test.bat
The Results are :
1. The H:\ drive shown when user login to GraphOn with test.bat
2. Just the K:\ drive shown when user login to GraphOn with test_other.bat. Where is the other one ??? The other script inside the test_other.bat could not execute.
3. just for information, I'm using the two of those scripts methode with Citrix with no issue till this moment.
The question :
Is the script with other script inside couldn't support on GraphOn to execute ???

Thanks

Are publishing the script somehow or are you using the Cluster Manager options?

For the record...

GO-Global supports two types of logon scripts: global scripts that execute for all users that log on to the server, and user-specific scripts that execute for individual users. Before loading the user's profile and launching the Program Window, GO-Global's Logon Manager checks to see if a script of either (or both) type has been specified. If so, the Logon Manager runs the script(s) within the user's security context each time the user is authenticated.

More details usage and configuration are in the Administration guide on pages 52-54.
