Dear GraphOn Support-Team,

we evaluate the GoGlobal Solution and found some problem with SuSE 10.3.

We use the latest GoGlobal Windows Server on a Win2003 Machine, our clients are SuSE Linux 10.0, 10.1, 10.2 and a few 10.3 workstations.

ggw runs smooth on all workstations except on our SuSE 10.3 machines.

If i try to start a GoGlobal Application it just hangs and nothing happens or it draws the application but you cant do anything with it.

When i strace the application it hangs on:

munmap(0xf7f43000, 4096) = 0
send(3, ",\356>\301\16\341;Z\341\315q\375\241\221\217\221\211\246On\31\263\313r7 \237\241\v\207z\f\301"..., 312, 0) = 312
send(3, "", 0, 0) = 0
futex(0x8067954, FUTEX_WAIT, 1, NULL) = ? ERESTARTSYS (To be restarted)
--- SIGWINCH (Window changed) @ 0 (0) ---
futex(0x8067954, FUTEX_WAIT, 1, NULL

this is a thread problem, if i use taskset to bind the ggw process to a specific processor sometimes it works but its not stable.

We run 64Bit-Machines only.

Any ideas?

I suspect the issue is that the SUSE client is not compiled (or optimized) for 64-bit platform support. Can you try the SUSe client on a 32-bit workstation? If not, email support@graphon.com to open a Support ticket and diagnose this further.
