Problem with Sage & GoGlobal - Drive mappings odd 11 Years, 3 Months ago Karma: 0
Hello

Our server hardware is Windows XP SP2 with latest updates.

The problem shows up whilst using any client. To be specific, when trying to use some drive maps, the drive mappings sometimes appear instantaneously, but sometimes take up to 2 minutes to appear.

Which is annoying for the user, sitting there waiting for the mappings to appear so that he can access/save his work!

Any ideas?!

Jonathon,

Are you using a login script (to map network drives) or mapping client side (local) drives? Either way, you may want to limit the amount of drives you are mapping and see if that improves matters.

You may also want to contact your reseller or our support team and ask them to look at your specific configuration.

Hi, thanks for the reply.

We're not using a script - we log onto the console, and map the drives, then log off - so the drive mappings is set by thier windows profile. We also have map local drives via the client turned on.

All the drives that are being mapped currently, are being used.
