Problems with native Linux Client 11 Years, 3 Months ago Karma: 0
Hi,

I've just downloaded the most recent V3 Linux client to make sure I'm not out of date - but it does appear that the Linux client can't cope with some popular software.

I'm running SAGE V12 (THE most popular accounting SW in the UK) and whereas the screen display using the ActiveX driver looks 100%, the native Linux client is missing bits, and the nice rounded buttons are coming out as boxes with triangles in each corner.

Anyone got any ideas re; whether this is something I can fix? (I'm already running with "-f" to fix other display issues)

Java fix ... 11 Years, 3 Months ago Karma: 0
Ok, my fix I guess it to use the Java client .. although this is a lot heavier on the client CPU, it does work.

I'm using Ububtu LTS and don't get any errors when I run the client .. is the brokenness an interaction with Ubuntu, or is the native client just not up to the same standard as the java and active X clients ?
