Different User Login can have different Icon??? 11 Years, 5 Months ago Karma: 0
Let say, i have create an account for User 1, User 2, User 3, in under Group of User in Win2003Server.

This user also need to access their folder like
User 1 access Folder User1
User 2 access Folder User2
User 3 access Folder User3
which i have create under C:\ of the server.
because inside got the file to run inside server using Visual Fox Pro 9.

In Go-Global Server, i have add an executable file name
is questhr.exe. so the setting for User 1 will be
Install Applications
Questhr1 icon file
Executable Path "C:\User1\questhr.exe"
Start Directory "C:\User1\"
Application Users/Groups
Builtin!Users[Full Control] -> Start Directory "C:\User1"

so the setting for User 2 will be
Install Applications
Questhr2 icon file
Executable Path "C:\User2\questhr.exe"
Start Directory "C:\User2\"
Application Users/Groups
Builtin!Users[Full Control] -> Start Directory "C:\User2"

so the setting for User 3 will be
Install Applications
Questhr3 icon file
Executable Path "C:\User3\questhr.exe"
Start Directory "C:\User3\"
Application Users/Groups
Builtin!Users[Full Control] -> Start Directory "C:\User3"

that mean then Installed Applications will be 3 icon for questhr.exe, when any user login will see this 3 icon. is any why that i can filder, User 1 login only can see questhr1.exe not questhr2.exe and not questhr3.exe

Please help

Which applications that user can see and run.Base on NTFS file permission.
In your case on questhr.exe.user who had "read"right can see this icon.And "read and Execute" right will can execute the application.So you can build a group that which user can run the application.add the group to the file permission and take off "users"group.absolutely,you can add by user.
