TOPIC: Hide server physical drives

Looking for a way to hide the GGW server drives from users. Today the users can see their mapped drives as well as the physical drives configured on the server. I would like to hide these; locking down NTFS permissions on C:\ has caused application issues.

Any suggestions?

Steve,
You can hide drives using system policies. You can use the following link for Win 2000 and XP.

That worked great, thanks! I discovered that this policy does not discriminate between physical drives and mapped drives. Fortunately you can customize the system.adm file to allow the mapped drives you want.
