In regards to disconnects with 3.1.1.3494, this is possibly due to a bug which has been fixed in 3.1.1.3498. If you are on 3.1.1.3494 it would be a good idea to upgrade to 3.1.1.3498.

Hi,
I have disconnection problems since I've upgrade to 3494.
Although I upgrade to 3498 the disconnections still happens.
I have checked everything else, and it all seems fine.

I'm helpless...

Hi Rabin,

A case was opened for this issue by your co-worker and we have replied to that case.

we're on 3498 too... just started disconnecting 11 Years, 5 Months ago Karma: 0
Worked great before ms-patching our 2kserver. This of course required us to update the graphon app to 3.1.1. 3498. Now we see about 5 disconnects in a 15 minute period. We're using this over approx 200ms vpn tunnel.

This is unusable to us, we're dead in the water until this issue is fixed.

Hi Dan,

Could you send email to ggws@graphon.com and attach an APS log? Once I have that, I will be better able to advise you.

Thanks,
Willo

disconnects again-- but I fixed it... READ IT! 11 Years, 3 Months ago Karma: 0
Hey all,

So after running successfully for a month or so on a bleeding-edge pre-release version of go-global, our users started getting disconnected yet again, and with the same rate of succession as before.

Now this came on all of a sudden, for all users, which is very perplexing as there was nothing done to our server at all. Also, this disconnecting was only occurring for machines in our remote offices, connected via the slower VPN tunnels. In my testing, I set up a local machine on the same LAN as the server, and it stayed logged into the hosted application all night long.

After spending a few days thumping my brain, I figured I'd try using a different host port. Digging through my current list of ports, I found one in the 3000's that will most definitely never be used on our network-- and stuffed it into my Cluster Manager config, displacing 491.

NO MORE DISCONNECTS!!! Switching back to the default port 491 yielded disconnects again in the 2 to 10 minute range.

I script my application's shortcut client-side to auto login the user -> and launch the app. So if you're doing the same, remember to use the -hp xxxx switch to identify the new host port number in your string (where xxxx is the port number).

I hope this helps someone out.

One other thing... I must say, my hat comes off to the excellent support I've received at GraphOn. I work in support at a software company myself, and understand the headaches associated with that pesky 'code churn'.

You guys are fantastic, keep up the good work!
