How does different userprofiles logon using loginscripts 12 Years, 1 Month ago Karma: 0
Hi,

we have running the latest version of GG on a W2K Workstation.
I created logon scripts by writing a batchfile using net use commands for mapping drive O ( home ) and P for public drive on another pc as networkdrives.
Every user got his own logon script an I copied them into Winnt\system32\GroupPolicy\User\logon.
By using the gpedit.msc command I registered the script files for logon and I inserted the name of the specified file in each userprofile in the space for logonscript.

When loggin on by using the GG Client drives will not be mapped correct ( User 1 gets the mapping for user 2 and otherway round ). When loggin off, the mapping will not be deleted.

Does anybody have an idea ?

try putting a net use / d line in the script to disconnect the mapped drives before runing net use driveletter: \\server\share This will disconnect the existing drive and then remap it. Try also adding pause at the end of the script so that you can see what is happening when the script executes
