TOPIC: Remote printing
Remote printing 12 Years, 4 Months ago
I am knew to GoGlobal and just set it up at three remote locations. The server is an xp pro at the main location. Connecting to the server and working the available programs seem to work ok except for one location. She seems to get knocked out of GG after a few minutes of operation. Fat fingers maybe.
The other issue I have is remote printing. The gal the keeps getting knocked off can print invoices and orders ok, but sales reports that are quite long are readable but don't print well. The other two locations prints the report to the screen ok but when it goes to the printer it only prints about 2/3 of the first page. ??????
The server and on remote location are using HP 1320's and the other two are Lexmakk ???? and Brother 1870 printers.

Hi Dick,

Sorry for the delay in responding, but I think these issues go beyond the scope of this forum. Could you send email to ggws@graphon.com and attach an APS log so we will know what version of GO-Global you are using? As far as the printing issue with only printing a partial page that might be something that is fixed in a higher release. We should be able to tell more from the APS log. The log is located in the '..\graphon\go-global server\log' folder. Also, please let us know if the clients are using the Universal Printer Driver.
