Could it be possible to have a feature that allows to open an url through "Vchannel" and open it on the client favorit's web browser ?

You can create a URL that launches an application automatically. For instance:

Code:

http://hostname/goglobal/logon.html?mode=embed&app=C:\Windows\System32\notepad.exe

Check page 8 & 9 of the Administrator Guide.

Hi there,
I have this question/request too (and I think you misunderstood Ludovic's question Erikt).

When a user has already logged on: Is it possible to send a command (like a ShellExecute) so that a website (url) doesn't open a browser on the server, but in the client's brower.

Just like when you print a document, it doesn't print to a local printer that is installed on the server (that has GoGlobal server installed), but it prints to the client's printer (Go Global remote client printer).

There is no integrated method to do that. GO-Global does have an API that can be used (inside an ISV application) to allow applications running in GO-Global sessions to start processes on the client. Functions are:

Code:

createClientProcess
destroyClientProcess
waitForClientProcessCompletion
getClientProcessExitCode
closeClientProcess

Contact your Reseller or GraphOn Regional Manager to explore this API/SDK functionality.
