1. First choice would be that if you are using dual monitors, that there was a display driver for each monitor, as in Windows, so that windows don't come up with half the window in each monitor. Having to continually move either left or right on new windows is a pain.

or.................

2. at least have a switch to turn off dual monitor so that when using GG, it always comes up on the left monitor (or is left justified).

Thanks.

I have to agree with Alan. We've been running into problems with dual monitors.

Example:
One user has a dual display and positions windows from a published app on 2 screens (i.e. a window on each screen).
Second user has single display and opens the app only to find windows appearing off screen (which inevitably raises the cry of "it's crashed on me").

I know you could argue it's up to the application to deal with this but many smaller developers don't as the OS would normally deal with it anyway.

My preference would be for all windows to open in the primary display.

GoGlobal has problem with Dual Monitor and we are using GoGlobal for an application that supports dual monitor and have some good functionality with Dual Monitor, like view pending bills on one screen and workon them on second monitor.

We are still waiting for the better dual monitor support. All of our remote users, 200 of them, are in the process of getting dual monitors. THis would be a huge improvement!

Are there any updates as to when we can expect a dual monitor solution?

Thanks

As of version 3.2.0 (build 4195 and higher), this feature has a functional change. When using dual monitors, the primary monitor will be used to display the GO-Global client. Depending on which GGW version you are using you may have to turn off the multi-monitor support.

Customers must update their GO-Global CLIENTS, Windows clients, ActiveX and Plugin.

Native Windows client: Append -mm 0 to the native Windows client shortcut. For example:
Code:

"C:\GraphOn\GO-Global Client\ggw.exe" -mm 0

    AX Control: Append <PARAM NAME="multimonitor" VALUE="false"> to looseactivexlogon.html
to turn it OFF. To Turn the feature ON use <PARAM NAME="multimonitor" VALUE="true">

Firefox/Netscape plug-in: Append multimonitor="false" to loosewindowspluginlogon.html to turn it OFF. To Turn the feature ON use multimonitor="true"
