I am trying to modify the user permissions for a program I have setup in Go-Configure so that they are available to other users.

I log in as root and go to the permissions tab for the program in question in the Edit Settings menu. The problem is that the 'allow', 'deny', and 'remove' buttons are greyed out, preventing me from changin the Allow or Deny rules. I can't find any way to modiy these rules.

Why can't I change the permissions for my program? Am I missing something?

I am able to create the same program when logged in as non-priv users. This approach is a pain as I have to create a launcher for each and every user that will use it.

In the Administrator´s Guide you can read:
- login with root
- then make 'su' to goglobal
- make 'cd' to /usr/local/graphon -> GOGLOBAL_ROOT directory
- make 'cd' to bin
- and now './go-configure'
Now you can change all Rights and so on...
