TOPIC: Keyboard and display - Linux client

Keyboard and display - Linux client 12 Years, 12 Months ago Karma: 0
The GG client for Linux (RH8) has a keyboard problem in that it doesn't seem to recognise a UK keyboard - for example the " and @ are transposed.

Is there a utility to remap the keyboard correctly?

And is there a way for the "Xterms" to pop up on the main display and not to be shown in a window manager?

Neither of these are problems with the Windows client.

TIA

Unfortunately, after releasing the native X11 client, we discovered that the current foreign language keyboard support has problems that require a reworking of how the keyboard is handled. We are currently trying to get this reimplementation complete for the next major release. There is no known workaround for the current release.

If you want to open a support ticket by e-mailing our support staff, we can notify you when a release is available that will resolve the problem.
