GoGlobal use wrong IP interface for XDM connection 2 Years, 5 Months ago Karma: 0
We used GoGlobal for Unix version 2.2.19 and now we have detected that GoGlobal use server BU-interface for XDM connections.

Users login their laptop to GoGlobal Server(server1) and start XDM connections to server1 and server2, but for some reason, all XDM traffic between server1 and server2, move via BU-interface(lan2) and this caused problems with END-user-application.
All other traffic moving via correct interface, this is only XDM issue.

If I disable BU-interface(lan2), I can't login with XDM anywhere.(grey screen)
I have also tried to restart GoGlobal server , but it doesn't help.

How we could to force GoGlobal to using correct interface for XDM traffic?

This sounds like it might be related to the DNS or /etc/hosts entries on the server and specified in the GO-Global configuration. If the host has multiple interfaces, each interface generally would have a unique IP address and a unique name for each address. Using the appropriate name should control which interface is used to pass traffic.

It could also be a factor what hostname the server has been configured with, and which IP address DNS maps that name to.

Hope this helps,
