operating system on linux server is novell sles 11.3,
connecting from windows 7 clients, using goglobal 2.2.19.
on my server an nvidia graphics card is installed and software i'm trying to run uses nvidia cuda to display images. If i sit at the server console having a monitor cabled off the graphics card, the software works fine.

if i remote in to the server using goglobal, i get the error in the subject and software exits immediately without displaying anything.

if i use tightvnc, i get the error.
i tried nomachine, and it works.

do you know what would cause this, how can it be fixed, and can goglobal be updated to handle this ?

thanks.

Hello,

GO-Global currently supports only software-based (indirect) GL rendering and doesn't support any of the GL extensions (GL_ARB_fragment_shader, GL_ARB_vertex_shader, etc.) that would be necessary for the software that you are trying to run. Unfortunately, this means that the software you are trying to run is not compatible with GO-Global for UNIX.

We do have several feature requests on file for hardware-based GL rendering support, so this is something that we are evaluating for each new release, but it's not currently scheduled for a specific release.
