GO-Global UX 2.0.2.396 and Windows NT4 connection problem 13 Years, 3 Months ago
I get error message Unable to connect <ip address> when trying to connect server with Go-Global UX client (NT4 sp6a + IE6.0sp1 + VMjava). Have I missed something when installing client? When using XP client everything works fine.

We have one 32-bit Unicode client that supports both NT4 and XP, so there is not a different client that you're using. It might be useful if you could send a message to support @ graphon.com or post here with more details about how you were trying to connect when it failed, and when it succeeded.

At this point, my best guess is that a firewall might be blocking the connection, or that the server might have been shut down between the times you connected.

Thanks,
Troy

I can't connect the server with NT4 client at all. I get everytime error message Unable to create connection to <server ip address>. As I said there is no connection problems with XP client.

I don't have firewall between client and server. Server is running normally when I'm trying to connect. Client and server are in same LAN so there is no routing problems either. I don´t use Windows domains or active directories so it has nothing to do with user accounts. I use also default port numbers in server.

gold.log file in server side doesn't show anything when trying to connect.. so NT4 Go Global client doesn't even try logging. NT4 event viewer doesn't show anything (errors etc) concerning Go Global client. However Go Global server request ping from NT4 workstation.
