Security dinged me for v2.0 SSL. I need to disable it for this application. Any idea how to accomplish this?

You can either take the Encryption line out of the license.dat file or simply don't connect via SSL (from the client interface).

Since you cannot disable specific protocols or cipher suites at this time, your best bet would be to disable GO-Global's built-in SSL support by setting:

Code:

sslport=0

in ${GOGLOBAL_ROOT}/etc/gold.conf. Then, you can use stunnel or another similar utility to accept connections on port 791 and forward them to GO-Global's unencrypted port 491. For example, in /etc/stunnel/stunnel.conf, add:

Code:

[goglobal]
accept=791
connect=491

In this manner you can use stunnel's options (such as sslVersion to disable the use of SSLv2) to control the specifics of the SSL connection.

Hope this helps,
