TOPIC: Screen Refresh

Screen Refresh 13 Years, 6 Months ago
Is there a way to get the entire screen to refresh? On certian applications, the screen will blank the fields I need and not refresh them unless I happen across the correct field.

Using Go-Global 1.6.1 for Windows on Windows 2000.
Thanks

I seem to be getting ignored. Is there something else I need to do or fill out to get a response? I realize my question is kind of vague, but I can fill in any details necessary if I know what is needed.

Hello Brian,

Your post was actually in our "GO-Global for Windows" forum, which is a different problem, which I expect means nobody knew how to respond. I've moved it into the "GO-Global for UNIX" forum, which is closer to a match since the GO-Global you're running is more closely related to our current GO-Global for UNIX product.

In any case, I don't believe that GO-Global offers a way to do this, although you might be able to accomplish it by minimizing and restoring the GO-Global window. What I usually have done in cases like this is to run the 'xrefresh' program, which causes all of the X clients in the session to repaint their windows. This may mean you'll have to have a terminal window of some sort open to run the command, or you might be able to make an icon that runs it, depending on your session and what window manager you're using.
