Does goglobal automatically use data encryption between the client and the server and vice-versa?

If not, is there a configuration parameter to force encryption to always be on?

GO-Global provides an "SSL" transport for use where you want the data to be encrypted. This is not automatically used, but is used when you select it from the "Options"/"Preferences..." dialog in the client, which is remembered between client invocations.

Client Logon Ports 13 Years, 6 Months ago Karma: 0
If we choose to use different ports for the
Logon Daemon Port, default 491
Database Port, default 4491
SSL Port, default 791
is there a way to have the client configured so that they do not have to specify the new logon port in order to connect?

Currently there is not any way to specify new default ports on the client.
