"goclip" is a proxy process used to support the integration of the X11 clipboard and the Windows clipboard. It's job is to manage the contents of the X11 clipboard to keep it in sync.

In current releases, gold updates the utmp/wtmp files so who and last should give you an idea of what users are using GO-Global.

If you run:

Code:

$GOGLOBAL_ROOT/bin/lmstat -a -c \
$GOGLOBAL_ROOT/etc/license.dat

You should be presented with a list of the licenses available and in use on your system.

Hope this helps,
Troy

Francesco,

The lmstat command will show you the actual number of licenses in use. Unfortunately, depending on the version you're running, we did have a bug where licenses in use could be prematurely returned to the license pool (and would then appear to not be in use). It's possible that you are seeing the effects of this bug.

If you are trying to determine how many sessions are currently running, counting the number of Xgo processes is a reasonable alternative.
