client key files for IE linux ? 10 Years, 3 Months ago Karma: 0
Hi,
I have installed the client for linux (224) but this uses .kx key files and there is no en_IE.kx file (en_UK.kx would be great).
Anyoone have one of these or a hint on how I can generate one ?

Solved by:
Adding to goglobal_ux:
GO_KBD_LANG=en_IE
GO_KBD_MODEL=pc

and creating and en_IE.kx

Note that en_IE IS en_UK but Ireland has to be different !
I copied en_US.kx to en_IE.kx and did minor edits.

The real trick was to sue "xmodmap -pke" from console loggin on my linuc pc (redhat) to get the real keys. I used this to do the mapping for the en_IE.kx
It SEEMS like no mapping should be required but my first attempt to use a one to one mapping did not work.
Just wanted to post this out for others to see !

(see the kdb/pc directory for the files)

CHANGES MADE FROM EN_US.kx for en_IE.kx/en_UK.kx:
diff en_IE.kx en_US.kx
