For some special reason, we have our GoGlobal Server running GMT but with the clock the same as local time (NZST.
Our real local time is +12 from that (NZST)

Now here is the stange bit.
If I have a telnet session with the host and type 'date' on the command line I get the correct time as it is on the server which is the same as on my PC.
AW51FX# date
Fri Nov 24 11:03:53 GMT 2006

If I have a GoGlobalUX session, start Xterm and then type 'date' on the command line, the server time has been corrected with +12 hrs.
AW51FX# date
Fri Nov 24 23:04:36 NZST 2006

Why is GoGlobalUX 'correcting' the time I see by adding the time zone offset to the session on my PC.
Can I turn off this, for me unwanted, feature?!?

You know how it goes.
If everything else fails, read the damned instructions.
And there it was, on just about the last page, it's configurable in timezonemap!!!
