Linux client - multiple windows don't work 11 Years, 10 Months ago Karma: 0
Hi,
I'm trying to run X application on remote server(HPUX). I wan't to have it in separate window, ie. xterm.

This works with windows client.

With the Unix one (last client for RHEL3) instead of xterm sized window, I have another big desktop (with the linux wm frame).

I run client on FC4.

Hello Kopetnik,

Currently, the X11 clients do not support multiple-window mode in the manner that you are looking for. Unfortunately there is no workaround at this time.

This is a feature that we have planned to add, but at this point I do not know when the feature will be implemented.
