GO-Global Product Information
This update includes improved support for multiple monitors, faster client drive access, and miscellaneous quality improvements. The attached ReleaseNotes.txt file includes a list of the changes in the update, along with instructions on how to enable its enhancements.
New versions of both the GO-Global Host and Client are included in the update. The Version 184.108.40.20604 Host can be accessed from older versions of the GO-Global 4 Client, but many of the new enhancements will only be available to users who upgrade to the Version 220.127.116.1104 Client. In addition, the improvements to the Client Drives feature are incompatible with older versions of the GO-Global Client, and this feature will be disabled for users who access a Version 18.104.22.16804 Host from an older Client. For these reasons, GraphOn strongly recommends that all Clients be upgraded to version 22.214.171.12404.
The Version 126.96.36.19904 Client will generally be installed automatically for users who either a) run GO-Global from a browser and have sufficient rights to install browser add-ons, or b) run GO-Global on Windows 2000/XP/2003 computers that have the GO-Global Client Update Service installed and access a GO-Global Host that has been configured to automatically upgrade GO-Global Clients.
The Version 188.8.131.5204 Client includes a fix for an issue that can prevent the Client from being upgraded automatically on Windows Vista, Windows Server 2008 and Windows 7 computers when User Access Control (UAC) is enabled. To install this fix, upgrade the GO-Global Client using the gg-client.windows.exe setup program that is included with this update.
