MM,
As applications are running on the server, I think you have to use Unix server to run Unix applications and Windows servers to run Windows applications.
Unless you know how to run Unix applications on a Windows server and the other way around.

You can access Windows applications from a UNIX client, and UNIX applications from a Windows client, with some reservations.

Our Windows server currently supports a Linux client and a Solaris client, so other UNIXes may not be supported.

Our UNIX server currently runs on Linux, Solaris, and HP/UX, so other UNIXes may not be supported.

Hope this information helps,
Troy
