Like the subject line says -- our GG server runs like a dream when on the same LAN as a client machine. Over the Internet, however, it similarly runs like a dream apart from every so often when the whole session will just lock up for about 30 seconds.
Remote clients using the same dial-up and ISP, connecting to Terminal Services and Citrix on the same LAN and through the same firewall as the GG server, do not have the same problem.
Are there any tweaks or settings that can be made, perhaps at the network card level, to improve performance?
