Hi,
I know but nut sure that printing support is done using pdf transfert and printing.
Is there a way to intercept direct PDF printing to let the ability to save PDF on the client side?

You may try goglobal boundled PDF-exchange or Acrobat pdf maker.or some other free pdf creator.Direct print file to client disk.

Also you can install pdf creator on client pc,using UPD direct print to client pdf printer as a pdf file.
