GO-Global offers two levels of SSL encryption, 56-bit DES and 256-bit AES. The low encryption is included as part of the standard package, while the high encryption is available as an add-on module.

Beyond these options, GO-Global makes use of a proprietary protocol (RXP) that requires a designated TCP port (default at 491) and matching thin-client software.
