Hi all,

In asian countries like Singapore, Hong kong, Taiwan, Japan or Korea, people often needs to input numbers, alphabets and asian characters on the same paragraphs or even in same input field of the programs. However, the switching of input locale is not supported and it makes many programs developed in asian countries not able to port into Go-Global servers. It is really troublesome and causing headache to IT support personnel in asian countries, if they've ever recommended users to use GO-Global XP.

John

John,

Are you requesting the switching of LOCALE input "on-the-fly" versus being able to set your LOCALE upon log-on? Switching locales within the same session is indeed not supported but I will submit this as a feature request.

If you want give me further detailed information on this request, please do so via e-mail.

Thank you!

Erik

Hi Erikt,

Yes, the flexibility of switching of locales within a session make many existing applications developed in asian countries to be able to port onto Go-Global XP. If Go-Global XP can also support handwriting recognition device on client side (so as to input asian chars), that would make it even more attractive !!

Best wishes,
John

I tried the browser version on Linux. I can't send combination keys such as Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V, Ctrl+<Space>, Ctrl+Alt+<Numberic key>, etc. The last two combination key sets as shown are related to Chinese Input Method.

I evaluate 2X.com's solution and they don't support these hotkeys as well. I lost customers to Citrix due to this problem existed in 2X.com. I have seen the same problem on your product which is better than 2x as do I perceive. It is not about language but about hotkeys. The Chinese Windows will take care of the input method. Is there a way to configure the hotkeys?

Ctrl +C and Ctrl V can copy session and paste to client. If copy paste Chinese words will a lot problem. With Ctrl+Shift you can smooth change your IME.Also Ctrl + Space also work fine.

unlike citrix do(Ex: Switch IME with Ctrl+Shift will change local IME not in session IME so Citrix using complex and unconiverent Ctrl+Alt + Number key to add many hot keys ),

Also.If you need change your hot keys 、 add or del IME .you can publish control.exe with parameter "intl.cpl"

In goglobal session. You can easy change IME with Ctrl+Shift.Change IME between Chinese and English just press single "shift" .The IME habits in goglobal session is same with noremal PC user.User need not change their habit.
