What encryption is used by GO-Global? 2 Years, 10 Months ago Karma: 1
As of version 3.1.1, GO-Global offers the following SSL encryption levels:

56-bit DES
128-bit RC4
168-bit 3DES
256-bit AES

An special "high" encryption license is required for 128-bit and above.

The RSA public key encryption algorithm is 512-bit and is used to establish the connection and securely exchange the DES session seed and key that are used to encrypt the session's data.

Once the connection is established all of the data transmitted between the client and the server is encrypted using a 56-bit DES algorithm, including the client's password and username, and any application data (including file transfer).
