Go-Global and MacOS 3 4 Years, 11 Months ago Karma: 0
Hi all,

I bought an Apple recently with MacOS Panther to replace my Windows PC. My GoGlobal UX Server runs on a Sun Server with Solaris. ( Go-Global Version 2.0)

I tried the Java cllient via the Mozilla Browser on my apple.
So I did a VPN connection to my Solaris server in the office (runs go-global UX and apache web server). Then I browse to http://<servername>/gogllobal/htdocs/java.html.
The Applet has been loaded an I got the login screen. After login I got the ICON Box with CDE, GNOME, XTERM, etc.

I launch the CDE appl. , but after the Solaris welcome screen appeard nothing more happened.
The hourglass stayed on the screen. No CDE desktop!

If I use the windows client on my PC all works fine.

Any idea what the reason can be why the session not started when I use the java client under MacOS?

Thanks for any replies.

Werner
