If you receive a message saying "The Application Publishing Service is not running on [host]. Contact your system administrator" you are attempting to connect to a GO-Global for UNIX server with a GO-Global for Windows client.

Currently, GO-Global for UNIX and GO-Global for Windows, while based on the same protocol, have different clients to allow for differences in how the sessions are published, started, suspended, and resumed.

To solve this, you should download the GO-Global for UNIX client instead.
