Generally speaking, we will need:
(1) the
APS server log,
(2) the
license.lic,
(3) the
license.log files, and
(4) the output of "
ipconfig /all".
* The APS log is located in the "
C:\Program Files\GraphOn\GO-Global Server\Log" folder.
* Check the license file and log. The license.lic and license.log located in the "
C:\Program Files\GraphOn\GO-Global Server\Programs" folder.
Note: These are the default locations and may differ if you change the installation path.
* Check permissions on license.lic (and the parent folders) to make sure it has a minimum of:
Administrators: Full Control
Users: Read & Execute
SYSTEM: Full Control
If the above information does not help us resolve the problem, we will direct you to a tool called "
lmtools". When you run "lmtools", we will need the following information:
(1) System Settings tab: There is a selection there to Save HostID info to a file.
(2) Server Status tab: Click on the Status Enquiry button, and then copy/paste the info to a file.
(3) Server Diagnostics tab: Click on the Perform Diagnostics button, and then copy/paste the info to a file.
